Straightening and cutting machine is a machine used for straightening and cutting steel bars with a diameter of less than 14 millimeters. The cutting length can be customized according to customer requirements. The straightening and cutting machine is widely used for stainless steel wire, cold drawn wire, galvanized wire, iron wire, steel wire, aluminum wire, water drawn wire, steel bar, and so on.

The straightening and cutting machine has the characteristics of fast speed, small error, no wire running, reasonable structure, convenient operation, safety and reliability, and can be widely used in various fields of hardware products, handicrafts, and daily necessities production. For example, straightening and cutting various metal wires such as pet cages, chicken cages, air conditioning mesh covers, bicycle baskets, banners, umbrella racks, bird cages, refrigerator shelves, wire mesh baskets, construction wires, wire mesh screens, etc.

It consists of a straightening cylinder, a traction mechanism, a cutting mechanism, a steel bar fixed length frame, a frame, and a driving device.

1、 Working principle of straightening and cutting machine

The motor drives the speed increase through a belt, causing the straightening cylinder to rotate at high speed. The steel bars passing through the straightening cylinder are straightened, and the rust on the surface of the steel bars is removed by the straightening die; The electric motor drives the hammer head up and down through another pair of reduction belts and a gear reducer. On the one hand, it drives two conveying pressure rollers to pull the steel bars forward, and on the other hand, it drives the crank wheel to move the hammer head up and down. When the steel bars are adjusted to the predetermined length, the hammer strikes the knife holder to cut the steel bars. When the cut steel bars fall into the receiving frame, due to the action of the spring, the knife holder returns to its original position, completing a cycle.

2、 Correct operating procedures for straightening and cutting machines

The following operating procedures are applicable to the following models: П O-6, W58-16, W58-6.3, W51-634544.

1) Seriously implement the relevant provisions of the General Operating Regulations for Forging and Pressing Equipment.

2) Serious in work:

(1) When the steel head is bent and cannot be fed in, the machine should be immediately stopped and taken out, and it should not be allowed to pass through.

(2) When the steel is found to be in a spiral shape and sent in, the magnetic therapy will stop and take it out, and it cannot be allowed to pass through.

(3) When straightening steel, if it is in the form of pallets, regular attention should be paid to the working condition of the pallets. If any confusion is found, the machine should be stopped immediately. When the plate material processing is almost finished, the material tail should be removed from the plate frame.

(4) After finishing work, remember to turn off the switch and cut off the power.

3、 Safety measures to be taken when operating a straightening and cutting machine

(1) When installing the support frame, the centerline of the support frame material groove should be aligned with the centerline of the guide cylinder, straightening cylinder, and lower cutting blade hole.

(2) After installation, the electrical system and other components should be checked for damage, the machine connection parts should be firm and reliable, and each transmission part should be flexible. After confirming that all parts are normal, the trial operation can be carried out. During the trial operation, the bearing temperature should be checked to see if the hammer, cutter, and shear gear are working properly. Only after confirming that there are no abnormal conditions can feeding, testing, straightening, and cutting be carried out.

(3) Select appropriate straightening blocks, traction wheel slots, and transmission speed according to the diameter of the required straightening steel bars. The aperture of the straightening block should be 2mm to 5mm larger than the diameter of the steel bar, and the width of the traction wheel groove should match the diameter of the required straightening steel bar.

(4) Attention must be paid to adjusting the straightening block. In the straightening process, there are generally five straightening blocks. The first and fifth straightening blocks must be placed on the centerline, and the middle three can deviate from the centerline. First, offset the steel bar by about 3mm, and after trial straightening, if the steel bar still has slow bending, gradually increase the offset until it is straightened.

(5) At the front of the guide tube, a steel pipe with a length of about 1m should be installed. The steel bars that need to be straightened should first pass through the steel pipe, and then enter the guide tube and straightening tube to prevent the end of each steel bar from popping out and injuring people when it approaches the completion of straightening.

(6) Before the straightening block is fixed and the protective cover is not properly covered, the reinforcement shall not be penetrated to prevent the base note block flying out after starting the machine from injuring people.
